I was born and raised in Pennsylvania.  I met my husband in college and moved to his home state of California when we got married.

I am a homeschooling mom to two wonderful daughters.  My daughters are only 11 months apart, so things can get pretty crazy here.

I have had two open heart surgeries.  The first one when I was 20 and the second when I was 28. 

I love to craft, bake, cook, sew and am always trying out new crafting ideas, projects and recipes.

I love to read and have decided to try my hand at writing, both nonfiction as well as fiction.

My husband and I just bought our first home and are nervous and excited about owning a home.

We are striving to live a financially responsible lives and we follow Dave Ramsey's principles for personal finance.

We are determined to be healthy and fit and our goal is to run a full nmarathon next year! 

We volunteer our time in church callins and in the community, as a family.  We want our kids to grow up knowing the meaning of work and helping others.
